The system is the world’s largest purification system for indirect potable reuse, providing up to 130 million gallons of water per day to roughly 2.5 million residents in north and central Orange County. It takes highly treated wastewater from the Sanitation District and purifies it. Through a three-step process of micro filtration, reverse osmosis, and ultraviolet light with hydrogen peroxide.

Arrested as an art forger in 1989, Southern California resident Tony Tetro became in 1991 the only living American artist slapped with a court order mandating that he clearly sign his name to the back of every work he creates, so they can’ be passed off as originals and sold for outrageous sums of money to unwary art collectors.
