Dedicated to promoting excellence in journalism and media within Orange County, the nonprofit venture will provide professional development, networking, advocacy, and community engagement opportunities to a wide range of media professionals. OC World wins Bronze for “Surviving the Trauma of Relationship Violence” in the category of General-Public Interest & Awareness at this year’s Annual Telly Awards. The program features Maricela Rios-Faust, CEO of Human Options, an Orange County agency serving victims and survivors of Relationship Violence. This program focuses on the experiences of those who lived through the cycle, and in some case, the intergenerational impact which leaves lingering trauma for victims and their children.
